In ‘Baked Earth Talking’, the figures made of clay emphasise the importance of debating & discussing matters concerning the Earth. These figures, in their raw simplicity, are straining to speak to us, demanding our attention and directing us to our connection with the natural world that we are all a part of.

These pieces were shown in the event “no man’s land” in collaboration with Platform 7, which took place on the London Underground & Disused Eurostar Terminal at Waterloo Mainline on Remembrance Sunday in November 2012.
